Challenge #1: “Let Love Come Alive”
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
This week you and your family are challenged to take the 5 Love Languages Quiz and take time to talk about the results with one another.
What were your results?
Did you learn something new about one another?
What surprised you about the results?
What steps can you take in learning how to speak the primary love language(s) of your spouse, children, family members or friends?
May 18 - May 24, 2020
Challenge #2: “Teamwork that Inspires”
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.
Gather your family or partner with a friend/loved one and come together to agree upon one kind act to do for someone who needs encouragement and a reminder of God’s love. Be creative, make sure everyone in your circle gives input on the one kind act and reminder to still practice social distancing.

Challenge #3: “Praying Together”
1 John 5:14-15
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if WE ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us, whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of him.
This week you and your family are challenged to set intentional time aside to pray together. Sit down with your family or reach out to a family member/friend and determine a time where you can spend time in prayer this week. Make sure everyone in the group prays, including children and adults. I would also encourage you to make this a regular prayer time with your family and friends.
Here are the reflection questions from Sunday’s sermon to help you pray during this time:
What opportunities has God created for you and your family/friends to pray?
As you pray with others, how are you allowing prayer to guide your life and actions?
Remember: you can submit online prayer requests and together the church will lift you up in prayer!

Challenge #34: “A Heart of Thanksgiving”
1 Thessalonians 5:18
In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
This week you and your family are challenged to sit with one another (in person or virtually) and share at least one thing you are thankful for during this season.
