Food Assistance Program
The Abundant Life Church is excited to announce the ALC Food Assistance Project. The project - funded in part by a generous donation from Partners Healthcare, along with private donors - was created to assist ALC members and attendees who have been directly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of the project is to provide grocery store gift cards to individuals and families who have been financially impacted by COVID-19.
Direct impact of the Corona Virus (COVID-19) is defined as:
Any individual, spouse, or dependent who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 disease by a test approved from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ("CDCP");
Anyone who has suffered adverse financial consequences as a result of quarantine, employment furlough, lay-offs, reduced work hours or cannot work due to lack of child care as a result of coronavirus;
And, or anyone who experiences a financial loss to an individually-owned or operated business that is caused by a closing or reduction of hours due to coronavirus.
Individuals and families who meet the criteria will receive a gift card to one of the following grocery stores: Market Basket, Stop & Shop, or Wegman’s Food Market. Those seeking support must complete the online application. We will not be able to accept incomplete applications or applications over the phone. Applications are due by May 15, 2020.
